TheMedimec S-MAX SELLA wheeled stairlift, two in one, is the most versatile and compact of the mobile wheeled stairlifts. This stairlift has a foldable and removable seat that allows you to choose how to use it: using the integrated seat or applying it to your wheelchair.S-MAX SELLA is suitable for people who foresee the future use of a wheelchair and allows you to optimise costs without upsetting your own habits and those of your assistant.

S-MAX SELLA embodies practicality and technology:
- Thanks to its low weight and foldable structure, it can be transported anywhere and used when needed, such as at work or on holiday.
- It does not require any physical effort from the companion as the weight always remains optimally distributed, ensuring extreme ease of use and maximum comfort for the user.
- The minimum maneuvering space on the landing is approximately 80 cm
- It is equipped with a single, solid and safe support bracket, which allows its use even on narrow and spiral staircases.
- It is equipped with two LEDs to make the steps more visible in dimly lit environments.
- It has ergonomic and clearly visible controls and height-adjustable handles for an even easier and safer grip.
- Thanks to the Smart-Step function it is extremely comfortable and safe: the support bracket moves on a shock absorber thus reducing the stresses.
- Thanks to the solid rubber wheels it can be used indoors on wooden, stone, marble, PVC or carpeted stairs without damaging them, as well as in open spaces even on steel stairs.
- It stops automatically at each step but offers the possibility of choosing the continuous motion mode
- It is equipped with a removable safety key that acts as an "emergency stop" to prevent improper use by unauthorized persons.
- It has a pair of automatic brakes that prevent the appliance from slipping forward over the edge of the step.
- It is equipped with an energy recovery system so you don't get stuck on the ladder when the battery runs out.
- It does not require any effort from the operator: the sensation perceived by both the assisted person and the assistant is one of extreme comfort and safety.
- Once the seat has been removed, it can be quickly attached to the wheelchair using two hooks, without making any changes to the original set-up (see Assistance)
- It has been tested at the Technical University of Berlin in the Berlin-Cert inspection and certification section with positive results following the standards for stairlifts ISO 7176-23 and DIN EN 12182
