It is also equipped with various safety features, such as an automatic braking system, to ensure the safety and protection of the user.
Innovative
The Vimec T09 Roby tracked stairlift is moved by an irreversible gearmotor with total electronic management which ensures:
The characteristics of the Roby stairlift are all aimed at satisfying the needs of the assisted person and the operator. They are assured stability and smoothness of travel on the stairs, great ease and ergonomics of movement on flat surfaces, usability, solidity and long autonomy. The tracked stairlift is available in three versions
The total electronic management, in addition to greater safety, translates into a drastic reduction in failures and, by virtue of reduced mechanical wear, a long life with performance, in terms of safety and ease of use, of absolute excellence. Roby is also equipped with a manual descent system, which in the event of an emergency on the ladder, allows the transported person to be recovered in complete safety. This is in line with the European regulations required for lifting equipment.
Design and functionality
The Vimec T09 Roby Tracked Stairlift has a modern and pleasant design and is made of completely recyclable materials. Single-cast aluminum load-bearing base (one of a kind). Oval aluminum profile rudder. ABS control panel and casing. Non-marking rubber tracks. Headrest and knobs in sanitizable material. The soft lines without protrusions and grips allow cleaning in just a few minutes.
Guaranteed ascent and descent, even in an emergency
The electronic management of the battery charger and the charge level ensures that the latter never drops below 8-10%. If the user does not carry out the normal charging procedures and the minimum limit is reached, the aid stops; it will be sufficient to wait a couple of seconds, and by pressing the movement button again the aid starts again, downhill, allowing the nearest landing to be reached and the transported person to be disembarked safely with minimum absorption.
This function prevents the batteries from completely discharging and allows them to recover full efficiency, drastically reducing their replacement.
Ergonomics
Roby is perfectly ergonomic.

The tracked stairlift is available in three versions
- Standard : This version can accommodate most wheelchairs with 600 mm/26 inch rear wheels and seat widths from 39 to 52 cm.
- Small wheel housing (ARP) : with a drawbar specifically created for the transport of all wheelchairs with small rear wheels of 300 mm/12 inches or postural wheelchairs with a tilting backrest and a seat height of 39 to 52 cm
-
Multifunctional platform (PP) : Version with platform suitable for transporting all wheelchairs
and strollers which, due to their characteristics, cannot be anchored
to the two previous versions
