- For independent users in manual wheelchairs: Max. gradient: 1:7 (14%)
- For users of manually operated wheelchairs who require assistance from an accompanying person or electric wheelchair: Max. gradient: 1:5 (20%)
- Example: to overcome a height difference of 20 cm and a maximum gradient of 1:5, a 100 cm ramp should be used (5 x 20=100)
