Allmobility Lite Disabled Ramp

The Allmobility Lite Ramp is one of the lightest on the market thanks to its unique composition of composite material of fiberglass and graphite. The central hinge allows the ramp to be folded, reducing its bulk. When open, it has a large sliding surface, with a non-slip surface treatment. The 70 cm version of the Lite R 100-070 Ramp (only 3.5 kg) can even be transported in the back of the wheelchair for excellent autonomy. A special bag is also available.
The Lite line ramps are the obvious choice for users or assistants who want minimal weight and greater autonomy. Particularly suitable for travel or for a ride in the city.

Choosing the right length of ramps

Always choose the longest possible ramp that suits your needs. In fact, the longer the ramp, the lower the degree of inclination you will have to deal with. In general, the following ramp lengths are recommended in relation to the indicated inclination:
  • For independent users in manual wheelchairs: Max. gradient: 1:7
  • For users of manually operated wheelchairs who require assistance from an attendant: Max. gradient: 1:5
Example : to overcome a height difference of 20 cm and a maximum gradient of 1:5, a 100 cm ramp should be used (5 x 20=100).
See proportions on the diagram below.
